Well Charlie and Rosie have been with me now nearly ten months and in that time they have turned 8 years old.
I think they are happy, healthy and overweight but you cannot have everything. We are currently attempting to improve the later problem but with me as the boss, rather a big ask.
This is Rosie, looking all fluffy and gorgeous. She is the one most likely to cause trouble. She is lovely. Tends to think she can boss Charlie around and he is very tolerant of her behaviour. This summer I had their coats cut very short to try and keep them cooler. They looked great and I think they enjoyed it too.
This is Charlie, isn't he the most beautiful boy. My David Beckham. Very placid and often has a toy elephant in his mouth that rather limits his view of the world.
Banjo is Lou's dog from across the road. Banjo knew Polly and they got on alright and he has managed to be a part of Rosie and Charlie's lives. Often joins us in the park and has play time with Rosie more than Charlie - tends to do boy things with Charlie like sniff and pee.
Penny is tolerating the dogs. Very cautious and they have had to learn that she is important in my life. At present we are surviving pretty well with her coming in at nights to sleep with me and watch the dogs from the vantage point of the bed. It would be true to say she is somewhat put out.

July 2014
Rosie and Charlie are the new family members following Polly's death.
I got them through Newcastle Pet Adoptions on 2 May 2014. I really thought I would be longer without Polly before considering new members but I felt so lost and despite Penny being very close, I was missing a dog. So the search commenced and here we are with two new dogs.
